Commencing with Preakness 149, these premier race days will offer elevated purses totalling over $12.5 million and $7.5 million in incentives for dirt and turf runners.
Notably, a $5 million bonus awaits the owners of horses securing victories in the 149th Preakness, The California Crown, and the Pegasus World Cup Invitational. The series kicks off on May 18 at Pimlico Race Course, promising the most lucrative Preakness Saturday yet, with $3.3 million up for grabs.
