41st International Gaming Summit: Addressing Industry Challenges and Innovations

The 41st edition of the International Gaming Summit will be held at the Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C., which is the centerpiece of the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA), on Monday, May 27, through Thursday, May 30, 2024.

The Summit, renowned as the most prestigious event in the gaming industry, offers a unique opportunity for the world’s gaming leaders to converge. Through a virtual exhibition, manufacturers, operators, lawyers, investors, regulators, and other advisor delegates can engage in discussions and exchange insights on the common issues that impact the gaming industry.

As the 41st International Gaming Summit approaches in Washington DC, hosted by John Stuartskyj, President of the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA), the calendar is set for a focused sports betting meeting.

As the US market rapidly expands, the Summit is uniquely positioned to address global challenges in sports betting. It brings together global betting operators, sports betting regulators, and sports leagues. Stawskyj underscores the importance of building a sustainable and ethical gambling industry, drawing from experiences in various jurisdictions.

Besides meeting the goal of sports betting, the agenda includes many other crucial practical issues. Here are some examples of topics that are to be covered during the seminars: how the increased prevalence of online fraud and data breaches pose threats to regulated operators; insights into the federal and state lobbying processes; updates on the developments in gaming markets outside North America; explorations of new technologies and taking a look at their possible effects on gaming. Stawyskyj found the prospect of the conference a source of joy, as it would offer opportunities to interact with peers and listen to fresh ideas about myriad issues during the summit.
