PokerStars VR Transforms into ‘Vegas Infinite’

Last updated: January 10, 2024

A significant development in free-to-play social casino gaming, Vegas Infinite by Flutter Entertainment transforms PokerStars VR into a cutting-edge virtual entertainment experience.

PokerStars VR, a virtual reality title from Flutter Entertainment, has been renamed Vegas Infinite.

The PokerStars-developed free-to-play social casino game is being overhauled as part of the brand refresh, which also introduces “the next generation in the game’s evolution as a virtual entertainment destination.

Vegas Infinite’s Features and Player Safety

A brand-new and bespoke 3D virtual cityscape for players to enjoy with private player suites, opulent casinos, and exclusive rooftop escapes will be introduced by Vegas Infinite. Additionally, the game will soon be accessible to PC players without a headset, joining the existing Steam VR and Meta Quest VR users.

When PokerStars VR first debuted in 2018, it gave users the chance to play poker online with friends, chat, and interact in a variety of settings.

The development of the VR product was hastened using the Flutter Edge approach of cross-sharing product and technology capabilities across the group after PokerStars was purchased from Flutter in 2021.

Commitment to Innovation and Community

Blackjack, roulette, slots, craps, and Rocket Rush are among the table games available in Vegas Infinite. There are also poker games like Spin & Go, MTTs, and the Metaverse Poker Tour, which is the series’ main tournament.

The virtual resort has expanded to offer subscriber-only rooftop escapes with views of the towering Vegas Infinite cityscape, private suites and dressing rooms, a luxury casino floor in Casino One, The Gallery casino for high rollers, and personal suites and dressing rooms.

Vegas Infinite prioritized player safety during development and employs a number of in-game safety tools, such as time outs, spending caps, player reports, and the ability to customize the level of social interaction with others, in addition to an AI live chat monitoring tool to support its moderation team.

It’s amazing to consider how far their game has come as they approach our fifth anniversary, according to James O’Reilly, PokerStars Director of VR & Innovation.

With a full range of games and experiences played in otherworldly settings and a dedicated player community, they have evolved from a cutting-edge experiment in using virtual reality on the poker table to become a living entertainment destination.

They now encompass much more than just VR and poker. There is a lot more in store for their players after they travel to Vegas Infinite.
